My name is Chad Cabeceiras. I have been teaching at both Center and Old Hammondtown Schools for 10 years. I am a graduate of Bridgewater State University University in Massachusetts.
I do not only teach about health and physical education, I also live it. I like to think that I practice what I preach! Some of my favorite hobbies are exercising and playing many different sports. I believe that through hard work we all can attain our goals.
Vision
All students will be physically educated, having aquired motor skills to perform a variety of physical activities, physical fitness knowledge, and intrinsic motivation to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle in an increasingly changing sociey.
Mission
The purpose of the physical eduction program is to contribute to each student's growth and development in the physical, mental, and social emotional domains through a movement-based curriculum. This involves delivery and instruction of a planned, sequential k-12 instructional program that teaches skills, knowledge, and behaviors to promote lifelong fitness.
